(Blacksburg, VA) – VT KnowledgeWorks is pleased to announce new member company, Safe NanoMaterials. Safe NanoMaterials provides proactive nanotoxicology services designed to assess and reduce environmental and health impacts associated with engineered nanomaterials.
Founder Benjamin Lepene reaffirmed his commitment to launch Safe NanoMaterials after attending VT KnowledgeWorks two-day Concept Camp late in February at Mountain Lake Resort. Lepene is currently a Ph.D. Candidate and National Science Foundation (NSF) fellowship recipient in Biomedical Sciences at Virginia Tech. He has also served as a Group Leader and Research Scientist at Nanosonic, Inc.
VT KnowledgeWorks is a high-tech business incubator which encourages inventors, researchers and entrepreneurs as they conceive, design, launch and grow companies to financial independence.
